Early Life
Bijaya was born and brought up in Baripada (Orissa).
He started doing drama as early in his 10th class.
From Class X till BA classes, he participated and acted in several plays.Then he joined National School of Drama. This credit goes to Prasanna Mohanty, a senior from National School of Drama who saw him on stages, appreciated his talent and encouraged to join NSD.
He passed-out of NSD, along with classmates like Nasseruddin shah, Raj Babbar, Om Puri.
